Russia`s North Caucasus Federal University delegation  held talks at  the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia

ArmInfo.Academician Ashot Saghyan, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia  (NAS RA), received a delegation led by the rector of the North Caucasus Federal University of Russia, Dmitry Bespalov.

As reported by the press service of the NAS RA, Saghyan presented the  activities of the Academy and noted: "We attach importance to holding  such meetings that strengthen scientific ties." In turn, the Director  of the Institute of History of the  RA NAS, Ashot Melkonyan,  mentioned the collaboration between his Institute  and the North  Caucasus Federal University. This collaboration has led to the  publication of two monographs, with presentations scheduled to take  place soon in Yerevan and Stavropol.  Dmitry Bespalov highlighted the  significance of collaboration with scientific institutions in Armenia  and invited the President of the Academy of Armenia to visit  Stavropol as a return gesture. The parties discussed potential areas  of cooperation, such as organizing joint educational programs,  conferences and schools.
