Cooking up some new tunes.

Ella Langley is on a roll and is keeping the momentum going as she is on the Damn Country Music Tour with Riley Green. Miss Langley’s schedule must be jam-packed because they do not have much downtime on this tour, and she’s using her days off to hit the studio.

Last year, Langley put out a stellar debut album, titled hungover. Later, extending the tracklist for the deluxe edition, still hungover.

“My debut record ‘hungover’ is out now. It’s been 5 years in the making & I’ve put my heart and soul into this project. It’s all yours now & I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.”

Langley was already a prominent up-and-coming female artist on the scene before her debut record, releasing a jaw-dropping EP, Excuse the Mess, which featured her heavy-hitting rock and roll-inspired collaboration with Koe Wetzel, “That’s Why We Fight.” Other tracks on the EP, like “Could’ve Been Her” and “Make Me Wanna Smoke,” showcased her dynamic songwriting and put eyes on her from country music fans.

Before the release of her debut record, Langley had a massive viral hit with Riley Green with “You Look Like You Love Me.” The CMA Award-winning single put Langley on the map of mainstream country fans, further solidifying her seat at the table of country music. Since the release of hungover, which puts a new lens of growth as a young woman, Langley had really grown into her skin.

She’s become one of the most badass women in country, capturing fans’ attention left and right with her hypnotizing stage presence, rocking yet raw lyrics, and, of course, the hope from some fans that she and Riley Green will end up together one day.

While it feels like we’re still in the thick of her still hungover era, as she just wrapped up that tour before hitting the road with Riley Green, Ella Langley is letting fans know that the next chapter of music is officially loading.

Last night, Langley posted a picture of a recording booth to her Instagram story with a simple caption overlaying the image.

LET’S GO!

Given that Langley is on the road with Riley Green through August and is supporting Morgan Wallen on some of his stadium tour dates, I have a feeling it might be a minute before we hear anything she is cooking up in the studio. However, seeing an artist I love working on new music always brightens my day, giving us the promise of something on the horizon.

Ella Langley, we are SO ready for this next chapter of music.

Fire up her recently released music video for “weren’t for the wind” while you’re here.
