According to the website, Kilmer earned $7 million for “Batman Forever,” equivalent to $12 million today. In 1997, he earned $7 million for "The Saint" and $6 million for "The Island of Dr. Moreau," making him one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood that year.

He also previously owned a 6,000-acre ranch in New Mexico. In 2009, he listed the entire property for sale for $33 million. In October 2011, he reached a deal to sell roughly 5,300 of the acres to an oil billionaire couple for $18.5 million, CNW writes.
