Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy calls on partners to respond seriously to Russia's constant attacks, which undermines international efforts to end the war.

Quote: "Last night, [Russia launched – ed.] 172 attack drones, more than 100 of which were Shaheds. In fact, large-scale drone assaults persist on a daily basis, as do missile threats and ballistic missiles. It should be apparent to our partners that these Russian strikes target not only our people, but also all international efforts and diplomacy aimed at bringing this war to an end.  Russia is striking at the positions of all those who want the war to end.

It's impossible to overlook hundreds of Shaheds every night. We expect a strong reaction. We are hoping for a reaction. An assertive reaction is required, particularly from America, Europe and everyone else who has relied on diplomacy. Russia must be forced to peace, and only coercion will work.

For some time now America's proposal for an unconditional ceasefire has been on the table without an adequate response from Russia. This explains a lot. If there was real pressure on Russia, a cease-fire could already have been reached."

Details: Zelenskyy commended partners who are advocating for new sanctions against Russia.

He also stated that he spoke with Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces, regarding the situation on the front lines, as well as in those areas where Ukrainian forces operate on Russian territory.

"We continue to be active in preventing the occupier from entering Sumy Oblast and Kharkiv Oblast. I salute all of our soldiers for their resilience, from Kursk Oblast to the southern fronts," the President stated.
