      HOPEFULLY YOU’LL BE BACK ONLINE VERY SHORTLY. TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT’S HAPPENING IN DOWN THE ROAD FOR US. RAIN IN THE FORECAST. NO MORE ICE FOR TONIGHT. SOME OF THE RAIN ON THE HEAVY SIDE. EVEN A RUMBLE OF THUNDER IN SOUTHEASTERN ZONES ARE NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION, BUT THE SUN RETURNS TOMORROW. STATEWIDE, SOME GUSTY WINDS ACCOMPANY THE BRIGHTER CONDITIONS AND THEN DRY ON WEDNESDAY. SUN INCREASING HIGH CLOUDS. NEXT SYSTEM ARRIVES WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING. THAT 1ST MAY, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, CONTAIN MORE MIXING AND EVEN MORE FREEZING RAIN. SO GOING TO TRACK THAT COMING IN BY MIDWEEK. AT THIS HOUR, TEMPERATURES ALL OVER THE PLACE. WE’VE BEEN HIGHLIGHTING THAT SINCE EARLIER THIS EVENING. 37 IN PLYMOUTH BUT NEAR 60 IN THE LOWER MERRIMACK VALLEY, 47 IN CONCORD, 37 IN OUR TOP MOUNT WASHINGTON, AND EVEN IN THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY WILL END UP AROUND 30 NORTH TO AROUND 40 SOUTH BY MORNING. SO WHAT ABOUT THE RAIN? SCATTERED SHOWERS TO THE NORTH. HEAVY DOWNPOURS TO THE SOUTH IMPACTING SOME AIR TRAFFIC RIGHT NOW IN SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND AND DOWN THROUGH NEW YORK CITY. THERE WERE A LOT OF PLANES JUST SITTING IN THE TARMAC DOWN AROUND NEW YORK AND LAGUARDIA, AND ALSO JFK IN THE LAST HOUR. NOW THAT LANE IS CLEARED THEM. WE’RE SEEING SHOWERS ABOUT TO BREAK UP IN THE NORTH COUNTRY, BUT STEADY RAIN FROM THAT INTENSE BAND TO OUR SOUTH APPROACHING US. SOME OF THE RAIN COULD BE MODERATE TO HEAVY IN THE MERRIMACK VALLEY AND ALSO UP THROUGH, SAY, SOUTHERN PARTS OF THE LAKES REGION, OVER TO THE COASTLINE. LAST FEW HOURS, SOME LIGHTNING STRIKES AROUND WORCESTER MAY SEE 1 OR 2 LIGHTNING STRIKES AND HEAR A RUMBLE OF THUNDER, BUT THE SEVERE WEATHER, THANKFULLY BEING SQUASHED OFF TO THE EAST AND TO THE SOUTHEAST. THERE IS A DEFINED BACK EDGE TO THE RAIN THAT WILL BE THROUGH HERE BY, SAY, 4 OR 5 IN THE MORNING. YOU SEE IT ON FUTURECAST. BEST SHOT OF RAIN FROM MIDNIGHT ON ANYWHERE FROM PLYMOUTH. MEREDITH POINTS SOUTH WITH THE STEADIEST. MERRIMACK VALLEY TO THE COASTLINE, BUT AGAIN, NOTICE THE TIMELINE HERE BY ABOUT TWO, THREE, FOUR IN THE MORNING. THE BACK EDGE ALREADY MOVING ON THROUGH SO THAT BY DAYBREAK THE RAIN IS GONE. THE CLOUDS CLEAR. WE’LL HAVE SUN AND GUSTY WINDS FOR TOMORROW. BEYOND. THEN TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT’S HAPPENING IN TERMS OF WEDNESDAY. WE’VE GOT MORE CLOUDS IN THE MIX OVER TO SOME RAIN, BUT ALSO FREEZING RAIN. THE BEST SHOT OF SOME LIGHT ICING. NOT ENOUGH FOR POWER OUTAGES. AS YOU SEE IT RIGHT NOW FROM SUNAPEE. POINTS NORTH. MAY IMPACT TRAVEL FOR THE THURSDAY MORNING. DRIVE IN AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF CONCORD, BUT MILDER BY AFTERNOON. BRIGHT AND BREEZY ON YOUR FRIDAY, INCREASING CLOUDS SATURDAY. NEXT SHOT OF RAIN SATURDAY NIGHT OR SUNDAY. HOPEFULLY HOLDS OFF UNTIL SATURDAY NIGHT.
