There's been some brilliant comic book deals so far in Amazon's Big Spring Sale, and with a whole weekend of discounts ahead of us, it might be time to start clock watching as the sale will come to a close on March 31. Some new additions have been added to the epic buy two get one free deal Amazon has been putting on for books, films, vinyls, comics, and more, and it's of great excitement to nerds like me.
Some of the best Batman comics of all time are now included in the offer, and there are some incredible books to choose from. This includes Under the Red Hood, The Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween, Year One, and more. All-in-all, this might be the best deal anyone has ever gotten... while spending $35 or more on Batman comics.
If I didn't already own all of these, I'd be all over this deal. The Long Halloween is my favorite comic of all time, and I also highly recommend checking out Dark Victory and Hush. But, like I mentioned already, these aren't the only comic book deals going right now in the Amazon Spring Sale.
There's also the selection of other classics like TMNT: The Last Ronin, V for Vendetta, Secret Wars, Daredevil: The Man Without Fear (Frank Miller), and more. But what I'm also especially excited about is the inclusion of several from Marvel's rebooted Ultimate series, such as Ultimate Invasion, Ultimate X-Men Vol. 1, The Ultimates Vol. 1, and Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 2.
For example, you could pick up The Ultimates, Ultimate Invasion, and Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 2 for a total of $41.78, a significant reduction versus paying for all three separately at MSRP, $69.97. That's $28.19 in savings if you buy while the sale is still live.
Moreover, while Spider-Man Vol. 2 is included in the 3 for 2 deal, Vol. 1 is not. But, it has dropped to its lowest price ever of $7.50 at Amazon, which means it can easily be paired with your fresh set of new Ultimate comics as well. And, finally, if you want more Batman, The Killing Joke is also at a record all-time low price at $7.14.
