The Seminole Hardrock Hotel and Casino Hollywood presents Iliza: The Get Ready Tour at 8pm. Iliza is one of today’s premiere stand-up comedians, with a fan base who show their loyalty by creating their Iliza-inspired swag to wear to her shows. The Sunshine Cathedral Center for the Performing Arts presents Lea Delaria: Out Rage at 8pm. With a multi-faceted career as a comedian, actor and jazz musician that began in San Francisco’s Mission District in 1982, Lea DeLaria holds the distinction of being the first openly gay comic on television in America, and earned a place in our hearts from her three-time SAG Award Winning role as Carrie “Big Boo” Black in the hit Netflix series Orange is the New Black. Now, the acclaimed jazz vocalist, Emmy Winner, and author of the infamous U-Haul joke takes aim at WTF is happening in the world today, bringing her Sicilian rage, sharp tongue, and musical prowess to the Chan National Queer Arts Center. Get ready to paw-ty and strut your stuff down iconic Ocean Drive with your fur-iends at Miami Beach’s first-ever Promenade Pet Parade from 10am to 2pm. Hosted by Miami Beach resident Wayne Ferguson, the voice of the NBC Dog Show, this pawsome event will be packed with fur-bulous activities, including a Talent & Trick Contest, a Most Unique Pet Competition, and a Pet & Owner Costume Contest. The celebration also features a Miami Beach Police K9 Unit demonstration, free pet vaccinations, vet consultations and a mobile pet adoption van. The parade kicks off at Lummus Park and 14th Place, right across from The Betsy Hotel, one of the most pet-friendly hotels in the country.

The West End Lounge will be celebrating its one-year anniversary today, which is the actual date they opened. While the celebration is all day, the main event will be from 3 – 8pm, where they will be showcasing a few of the performers who have become fan favorites at the lounge. Here’s the entertainment lineup: From 3-5pm they feature Beau Cornelius, their Sunday weekly pianist will get folks in the mood with his pop/jazz tunes. From 5-6pmone of Fort Lauderdale’s favorite Piano Man, Alexander Zenoz, takes the stage to sing pop and rock songs. Finally, from 6-8pm their resident DJ Adriane Rose will take folks into the night with her smooth South Florida lounge/house vibes. They will be offering light food.
