Two of indie rock’s biggest bands, The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse, will be joining forces for a co-headlining tour this summer, dubbed “The Good Times Are Killing Me” tour.

The tour will act as a reunion for the two bands, who first shared the stage together during the “Unlimited Sunshine” tour in 2002.

Kicking off on August 1 in Atlanta, Georgia, the tour will visit multiple cities, including stops in Richmond, Philadelphia, and New Haven, before wrapping up on September 11 in Troutdale, Oregon.

The tour will feature both bands alternating headlining slots each night, with The Flaming Lips generally closing the show. However, Modest Mouse will close the final two shows in Troutdale, Oregon.

Special guests, indie rock bands Friko and Dehd, will offer support on select dates.
