Sir Elton John and Brandi Carlile will feature in an “unforgettable” ITV primetime concert special hosted by Schitt’s Creek actor Dan Levy, the broadcaster has announced.
The concert, An Evening With Elton John And Brandi Carlile, will include performances from their upcoming album along with a selection of their individual greatest hits.
The two will also have a sit-down conversation with Levy to discuss their lives and music careers.
Filming at the London Palladium on March 26, the special will air on Saturday April 19, shortly after the launch of their joint album which shares the same title as their hit single Who Believes In Angels?

Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment at ITV, said: “We’re so excited to bring this unforgettable evening with the inimitable Elton John and acclaimed Brandi Carlile.
“This show promises to be a special one, filled with incredible music, poignant moments and stories from their remarkable careers at one of London’s most iconic venues.”
The concert special will include behind the scenes footage of how the musicians made their recent album, with their family and friends paying emotional tributes to the artists’ careers throughout the evening.
Sir Elton, famous for hit songs such as Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer and I’m Still Standing, teamed up with the US singer to write and record the joint album in October 2023.
Carlile, 43, is best known for her hit song, The Story, and has collaborated with artists including Hozier, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys.
The concert special will be hosted by Levy who wrote and starred in the hit sitcom Schitt’s Creek which follows a family of four as they go from being extremely wealthy to penniless overnight and adjust to life in a small and unsophisticated town.
The joint album will be released through Island EMI Records on April 4 and also includes Oscar-nominated song Never Too Late, inspired by Sir Elton’s documentary of the same name.
Sir Elton was inducted into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame in 1992 and subsequently honoured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
The star headlined Glastonbury in 2023 which was his last UK performance during his 330-date Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.
The music special will air on Saturday April 19 on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
