Sugababes announce outdoor headline show in Bootle
Sugababes join Billy Ocean, The K’s and Ocean Colour Scene on the bill
British pop group Sugababes have been confirmed as Salt and Tar's latest headliner. The Bootle-based music festival returns for another four-day weekend of entertainment from August 7 - 10.
Since their highly anticipated reunion, the Sugababes have cemented their status as one of the most successful and influential vocal groups in British pop history. With their iconic harmonies and pioneering blend of alternative, pop and R&B – they have consistently redefined the boundaries of creativity.
Salt & Tar has already attracted thousands of visitors and played host to some of the world's biggest music stars including Status Quo and Tom Jones who both performed at the Music Weekender festival in August 2024.
More than 11,000 people attended the canal side venue last year which also included performances from local bands and artists.
Sugababes will perform at Salt and Tar on Saturday August 9. Next month, the group embark on their biggest UK arena tour of their career, with shows in, Leeds, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Newcastle and Glasgow:

A new event, the Salt and Tar Fringe Festival, will host a range of comedy stars Clinton Baptiste, Maisie Adam, Brendan Riley and Mack Miller from May 23 - 26.
Salt and Tar promised more Fringe events on the horizon including "everything from live music to street theatre, book readings to beer tasting, wellness activities to science workshops and everything in between." Tickets are on sale now here.
