This year's line-up for the 2025 Margate Summer Series is packed-full of star-studded acts including Tom Jones, UB40 and Billy Ocean. And it has just got better, as festival organisers have now announced one of the final acts for the coastal festival.

None other than Dizzee Rascal, one of the most acclaimed artists that comes to mind when you picture the UK's grime rap scene, will be performing on Friday, August 29. He will be on stage alongside an equally reputable and iconic lyricist Mike Skinner of The Streets, and multi-instrumentalist, DJ Badger.

Dizzee Rascal alone is sure to bring an excellent high-octane performance. The east London-born rapper has been at the top of the UK's mainstream rap scene for decades, winning the UK's prestigious Mercury Prize all the way back in 2003 for his debut album titled Boy in da Corner.

And in the many years since, the grime rapper has only gone from strength to strength working with scoring four UK number one hits from his fourth studio album, 2009's Tongue N' Cheek. Also in this time he's achieved some excellent collaborations, most notably with the likes of Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys, and Shakira.

Some of his most popular songs, which are sure to get the crowd jumping at Margate are grime hits Bassline Junkie, which hit the top 10 and spent 17 weeks in the UK charts in 2013. And the even-more popular track Bonkers, a Van Helden-assisted anthem, spent two weeks at number one in 2009.

Alongside Dizzee Rascal on the stage on August 29 you'll also find Mike Skinner, well-known for his now-retired role in the indie electronic act known as The Streets. Mark Skinner was the face of The Streets, winning a Brit award with his time under that moniker.

The Birmingham-born lyricist and DJ continues to push things forward with his genre-bending DJ sets full of alternative dance and drum and bass bangers. More acts are still to be announced, but the line-up is already looking unmissable.

And Summer Series organisers have promised it will be the "biggest iteration to date". It's not hard to see why as an impressive list of chart-topping acts will be headed to Dreamland between June and September including Tom Jones, Olly Murs and the Sugababes.

Not much needs to be explained about Tom Jones, from Delilah to Sexbomb, the Welsh-born singer has an illustrious, catalogue of hits which spans decades, and will definitely bring an excellent performance for crowds in Margate on Sunday, July 6, even though he is now 84-years-old. Performing alongside Lemar at the summer festival, Olly Murs has cemented himself as a British icon pop singer with multiple number one singles under his belt.

Crowds will surely sing along to some of his classics anthems by the coast on Friday, August 15. KentLive has rounded up all of the artists booked for Margate Summer Series 2025 so far, below.
