Amanda Holden, a judge on Britain's Got Talent, was left utterly astonished after discovering her fellow judge Bruno Tonioli's impromptu singalong with rock legend Rod Stewart.
During a recent Heart Breakfast show, Ashley Roberts shared with co-hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda that Rod Stewart is set to become a grandfather for the fifth time, following his daughter's pregnancy announcement.
Reacting to the 80-year-old rocker's joyful news, Amanda recalled a message from BGT colleague Bruno Tonioli about his unexpected encounter: "I had a message from Bruno Tonioli this morning, he was in the Polo Lounge at the Beverley Hills Hotel having a sing song with Rod Stewart until the early hours."

With a touch of humour, Amanda recounted the text from Bruno, saying: "He said 'I just did a turn with Rod' and I said 'I hope you mean you're dancing and it's not some sort of funny turn'. He said 'no, I was singing with him, he was on piano'."
Amanda also expressed her jealousy over Bruno's spontaneous moment with the famed singer, confessing that "I wish I was there for that".
Bruno, who initially made his mark as a choreographer for stars like Tina Turner, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Freddie Mercury, and Boy George, is perhaps most recognised for his long-standing role as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since 2004.

After becoming a significant part of the show over the years, it was three years ago that his stint on the BBC dancing competition ended, when Anton Du Beke replaced him.
Recently, aside from serenading Rod Stewart during a holiday in the US, Bruno joined Amanda on the BGT judging panel after making his first appearance on the show in 2023.
As the ITV show returned to our screens earlier this year, he joined fellow judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and guest judge, KSI.
Bruno recently joined Rod for an impromptu musical performance while on holiday in the US. It has been announced that the 80-year-old is set to join the likes of The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo in headlining the Glastonbury festival later this year.
