Mikey Graham has revealed that he was deeply humbled by the reaction fans had to the recent Boyzone documentary.
The Sky documentary saw Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, and Shane Lynch reunite in person at a pub as they discussed the future for Boyzone, but Mikey did not join his bandmates.
He was also absent from a red carpet-event for the new series after not speaking to his former boyband members for many years.
And breaking his silence on the recent show, which was met with huge reaction from fans, who praised the singers for sharing their journey, the 52 year old admitted he had only “honesty” to bring to it.
He also addressed his recent absence, sharing that the death of his mother and his divorce have prompted him to regain his “spiritual liberation”.
Graham’s beloved mum Sheila passed away following a brain haemorrhage in 2017 and he revealed last year that he had split from wife Karen Corradi after 20 years.

Taking to social media he told fans: “Thank you all for the kind comments regarding the recent BZ documentary. I’m very humbled by the compliments. Honesty is the best policy and that’s all I had to bring to the table.
"My life in the public eye has been interesting to say the least. It brings you marvellous opportunities and all the toys you want. But sooner or later those thrills run out and you find yourself looking for a deeper meaning to life."
He continued: "I have quietly been on my own spiritual journey for deeper meaning for 30 years approx, studied all the texts and struggled endlessly with depression. But now having lost my marriage, my career, the love of one of my daughters, my mother, all of my possessions and my home.
“I’m facing the truth that all humans spend a lifetime running away from through distractions of entertainment and accumulation of stuff.
“But in spite of that, I’m beginning to regain the most important thing in life. Spiritual liberation. I lost that 32 years ago. You cannot put a price on that. My path ahead is becoming clearer.
“I’m not afraid to be me, so don’t be afraid to be you. Forget about all the people who try to make life look wonderful all the time on social media. Trust me, they are just running from their own truth and shadow themselves. It’s the truth that sets us all free.”
