Jack appeared to enjoy some downtime before the gig as he was spotted sightseeing in Glasgow by some eagle-eyed punters.

The actor and musician posed for a selfie with one fan near the city's Bothwell Street.

The rocker, sporting a grey beard, gave the heavy metal "devil horns" sign for the snap.

Sharing the selfie on social media, the delighted punter wrote: "People of Glasgow and any movie or music fans of Jack Black/Tenacious D.

"Well Jack Black is stoating about Glasgow on his jack jones. Got him just off Bothwell Street."

Another picture seemingly shows Jack on his way to the Hydro for tonight's gig, with a fan writing: "Is that f***ing Jack Black?"

One Tenacious D devotee even shouted at the rocker from across the street to get his attention.

He wrote: "I’m sorry we hollered at you from across the street but you are the coolest MF ever for coming over.
