A musician who has sold more than 500,000 copies of his studio albums and performed around the world will star in a new programme showcasing his performance at Blenheim Palace.
'Golden Age: MILOŠ At Blenheim Palace' features Miloš Karadaglić, an acclaimed classical guitarist.
Directed by Laurence Warder, the programme will debut on Sky Arts on April 22 at 8pm and will be available thereafter on demand.
The programme features Mr Karadaglić performing music from his new album, 'Baroque', at the Woodstock palace, which is an example of baroque architecture.
Mr Karadaglić said: “Since the very beginning of my life as a musician, I have been deeply inspired by the incredible variety and electrifying energy of the baroque repertoire.
"Within the classical guitar context, apart from J.S. Bach, I believe we have only ever managed to touch the surface.
"It was wonderful to make this film in the stunning baroque surroundings of Blenheim Palace.”
The programme will feature pieces by Bach, Boccherini, Couperin, Handel, Marcello, Rameau, Scarlatti, Vivaldi and Weiss, many being played for the first time on solo guitar.
Mr Karadaglić collaborated with Jonathan Cohen on the orchestral transcriptions and Michael Lewin, with whom he studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Mr Karadaglić has released six studio albums, earning him a Classical BRIT, Echo Klassik and two Gramophone Awards.
