Visitors can delight in the vibrant, mixed-media works of mother-to-be and self-taught artist Courtney Griffin. Her delicate works — featuring luminous, acrylic paint and embroidery on silk chiffon — were conceived during her pregnancy. Viewers can also revel in the striking and layered mixed-media, floral creations of mother-of-two Noelle Miller. Selected in summer 2022 to open for The Rolling Stones in London’s Hyde Park, Kingfish has also performed and toured with friends including Vampire Weekend, Jason Isbell, Steve Miller and Buddy Guy, a mentor of his, with whom he appeared on Austin City Limits. $35-$39.50, 303-786-7030, z2ent.com.

Yellowman at The Fox Theatre: 8 p.m. Thursday, The Fox Theatre, 1135 13th St., Boulder. Jamaica’s first dancehall superstar, Yellowman ushered in a new era in reggae music following Bob Marley’s death. His early ’80s success brought the popularity of toasting — the reggae equivalent of rapping — to a whole new level and helped establish dancehall as the wave of the future. For better or for worse, he also epitomized dancehall’s penchant for “slack” lyrics: casual violence, sexism, homophobia and general rudeness. $25-$30, z2ent.com.
