It's the classic TV with an amazing them tune and 90s kids all over the world are losing their minds at the fact that Sister Sister has just hit Netflix.

The American show, which made its debut in 1994 focuses on twins Tia and Tamera, who were separated at birth.

While one was adopted by a single mother, the other was adopted by an affluent married couple but a chance meeting while out shopping brings them back together and changes their lives forever.

And while real-life sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry were the main stars of Sister Sister, which ran for six seasons until 1999 and was repeated long after then, the cast also included Marques Houston as the girls' next door neighbour Roger - all together now "GO HOME ROGER!!!" and the fabulous Jackée Harry as Tia's diva-tastic mother Lisa.

And now UK fans of the programme have been sent into nostalgic binge-watch heaven by the news that is now available to watch on Netflix over here from today, Friday, November 6.

It's not the only the only retro TV hit getting the Netflix treatment either as it will be followed by Girlfriends on November 13 and Moesha on November 20.

The reaction to Sister Sister's arrival on Netflix - all six seasons of it! - has been huge on Twitter.

One fan tweeted: "Sister, Sister is on Netflix!! I repeat Sister, Sister is on Netflix!!" and another declared: "Sister Sister is on Netflix so no one try and talk to me for the next few days byeeeee."

The UK has just been plunged back into lockdown but one Sister Sister fan is convinced they have the remedy, tweeting a screen grab of the show and declaring: "LOCKDOWN IS SOLVED."

Echoing those sentiments, another commented: "Sister Sister has been put on Netflix UK. Turns out I have 4 whole weeks free to binge."

Celebs are excited too with Girls Aloud star and Masked Singer UK winner Nicola Roberts reacting to Netflix's announcement about Sister Sister's release with a series of love heart emojis.
