  • A complete box set comprising all six Sade studio albums remastered for vinyl is out via Sony on October 9th. This Far includes Diamond Life (1984), Promise (1985), Stronger Than Pride (1988), Love Deluxe (1992), Lovers Rock (2000) and Soldier Of Love (2010)—the albums that netted the group, comprising Sade (vocals), Stuart Matthewman (saxophone/guitar), Andrew Hale (keyboards) and Paul Spencer Denman (bass). Together, the six albums have amassed 60 million worldwide sales. For the box set, the band worked with Miles Showell at Abbey Road, remastering the albums from high-resolution digital transfers of the original studio recordings and then recutting using a restored Neumann VMS80 lathe. The title of the box set implies Sade and her band may release further studio recordings at some point, though, naturally, this has been neither confirmed nor denied by the notoriously press-shy pop star.
