Isle of Wight Festival will screen its greatest hits on TV this weekend.

Music fans can watch some of the best sets of previous years after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The special edition show will be hosted by Edith Bowman and Will Best on Sky Arts from 7pm on June 12-14.

It will include performances from the likes of Amy Winehouse, Liam Gallagher, David Bowie, Kasabian, Colplay, Jay-Z and Fleetwood Mac.

The 2020 edition was set to take place this weekend with headline sets from Lewis Capaldi, Snow Patrol, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran and The Chemical Brothers.

It was cancelled in March with the festival releasing a statement saying: "This decision has not been taken lightly and we have tried our hardest to make it work, but it was unavoidable given the current status. The whole team was excited to welcome everyone to the island for another fantastic festival and we extend our sincere apologies to everyone who was looking forward to it as much as we were."

It's been confirmed that the festival will return in 2021 on June 17-20 with festival goers having the option to carry over their ticket to next year. The lineup is yet to be confirmed including if the headliners will return for 2021.
