City folk bond over quirky art and music
Art connoisseurs and city socialites were in for a treat as a unique range of over a hundred artworks were on display at an exhibition.

Held at a Madhapur art gallery recently, the show, hosted by Supraja Rao showcased a fine blend of mixed media such as ceramics, wood, textiles, cotton, steel, marble, fibreglass, aluminum by over 20 contemporary artists from across the country, including Vinod Daroz, Venkat Bothsa, Smriti Dixit, and Jagdish Chintala to name a few.

It also featured a sound and video installation by artists Hetal Chudasama and Parvati Nayar, that blended soulful music with the artworks on display. The do saw many familiar faces, including noted designer, Prashanti Tipirneni and Turkish Consul General, Adnan Altinors and wife, Kubra, who were seen admiring the unique artworks.
