THE LONDON Irish Centre is known for hosting fantastic events, and their newest announcement doesn’t disappoint.
The LIC will be holding a unique concert next month, which will be hosted by popular Irish comedian Dermot O’Leary.
The event will take place on September 26th, and promises an as-yet unnamed range of musicians who will join Dermot on-stage to perform their favourite Irish songs in a stripped back and intimate atmosphere.
Last year, the London Irish Centre famously hosted megastar Ed Sheeran in the venue, meaning this year’s list of musicians could literally be anyone, and people are already falling over themselves to guess who the mysterious guests could be.

Comedian and radio host Dermot O’Leary is a big believer in the fantastic work the LIC does, and said of the upcoming event:
“I was blown away by the response we got to last year’s event with Ed Sheeran so we decided to plan something extra special for this year.
Joining me on the 26th September will be a host of amazing Irish artists coming together in a unique Irish way. I hope you will join us on the night in raising vital funds for the future of the London Irish Centre.”
The London Irish Centre started as a support and charity for Irish emigrants to London over 60 years ago, and their lunches, dances and other events means it has since become an integral part of life for many Irish people abroad—especially with their addition of An Siopa, which stocks all the home-grown favourites such as multi-packs of Taytos and Kerrygold butter.
The centre is continuously growing, and the charity’s goal is to become a world-class community cultural centre. Many will agree that events such as this is definitely a step in the right direction.
Tickets will be released on Monday 19 August and start from £85—or £225 if you’d like the VIP package, which includes a VIP drinks reception before the show and premium seating.
