St George’s PLP MP’s Give Back To Community

July 19, 2018

PLP St. George’s MPs Renee Ming and Kim Swan, together with their branch committees, organized an impromptu “Hot Dog on the Square” to say thank you to the community in commemoration of their first year election anniversary.

“In addition to the hot dog, snack and desserts, the gathering were treated to music by DJ Brutus. In true St. George’s fashion some gathered broke out in song and dance – hail, hail, the St. George’s gang is here – officially getting into the Cup Match spirit,” Mr Swan said.

“The highlight of the evening was when the two area MPs donated $500 on behalf of their branches to assist equestrian Kijuan Minors who is representing Bermuda at the CAC Games in Colombia.”

I bet the St. George’s community would feel a lot more appreciated if you sent some W&E/Park staff down to clear the overgrown trees and weeds from the parks and roads.
