The album was released on 10 April containing the carrier single Blooming Days and six other tracks. EXO-CBX is a sub-unit of K-pop boy band EXO and composed of Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin.

Following its release, Blooming Days topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in Finland, Greece, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Portugal, Turkey, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Peru, Armenia, Argentina, India, Indonesia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, Colombia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Macao, Thailand, Cambodia, Brunei, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Israel (and breathe).

It also hit No. 1 on Korea’s Synnara and Hottracks’s daily album chart, as well as China’s Xiami Music chart.

The music video for Blooming Days also garnered 3 million views in 20 hours after it was uploaded to YouTube. This is EXO-CBX’s second mini-album since releasing Hey Mama in 2016.

In an online broadcast on V Live channel EXO-CBX, Chen said they have seven songs on the album so ‘fans can enjoy every day with us’.

‘And the choreography (for the title track) is awesome,’ said Baekhyun. ‘The dance is really hard.’

Chen also revealed that they are watching their weight for the album’s promotions, saying they will only have chicken breast for meals.

EXO-CBX will have their comeback performance on TV show M Countdown on 12 April.
