Wizkid and Davido nominated for MTV Europe Music Awards

And this time the African community is packed full with splendid talent from across the continent who have had an impressive year in review. These acts would battle for the singular category of the Best African act.

Among these six nominated artistes for the trophy, Wizkid and Davido (Nigeria) standout as top performers. The duo from Lagos are pitched against each other, much as they have been for lengthy periods of their careers. Other nominated artists include artistes such as Babes Wodumo and Nasty C from South Africa, C4 Pedro from Angola and Nyashinski from Kenya.

Voting will be done on the EMA website, with winners to be announced on Sunday, November 12 when the 2017 MTV EMA will be broadcasted live around the globe from The SSE Arena, Wembley in London.
