The Rundown: Weekend events for theatre, music fans and more

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Here are some events happening this weekend to get you out on the town to enjoy some of the warmer temperatures.

Brewbaker Primary School’s PTA will be having their Wellness Fair on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. lasting until 2 p.m. The wellness fair is designed to give community members a chance to engage and discuss topics related to healthy bodies, healthy minds, and a healthy environment. There will be health information, health checks, face painting, food, fun giveaways and much more! The best part is this event is free!

Maybe this next event is more your speed, the Montgomery International Dragway will feature some fun for the whole family. You can see some cool cars, some fast dragsters, kids will be racing, there will even be food available for purchase. It is located off the North Bypass.

Theatre fans? We have something for you. Alabama Shakespeare Festival presents Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery on the Festival Stage, you have until May 12th to watch this. Bard Bash is happening Saturday in the Shakespeare Garden from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. There will be activities for all ages such as a Costume Trunk Dress-Up, Boules, Shakespeare insults, and more.

Also happening, The Millbrook Community Players presents The Hallelujah Girls. Come out and enjoy the hilarious comedy featuring some feisty females, you have until April 28th.

The City of Montgomery’s Jazz on the River is also happening this weekend. There are many more events happening this weekend, if you would like a full list, just look below.
