She might present Antiques Roadshow – but when it comes to partying, Fiona Bruce is no old relic.

The Question Time host, 55, seemed determined to prove she could still party with the best of them as she hit the Isle of Wight Festival this weekend.

And as our exclusive photos show, she even dusted off a few old moves and hit the stage during the encore of Come Home by indie rockers James.

Despite telling friends she couldn’t go “too wild” as she was presenting the Six O’ Clock news last night, Fiona’s letting loose didn’t end there.

She was later spotted raving away to Fat Boy Slim, wearing a bright blue anorak in the heavy rain, and didn’t hang up her dancing shoes until gone 2am.

When we finally caught up with her, Fiona had clearly been looking forward to the weekend – especially after having to defend the BBC's decision to axe free licence fees for over 75s on Thursday’s Question Time.

“There’s no way I was missing coming to Isle of Wight,” she said.

“Yes you did see me on stage. Would I swap politics to be a backing dancer? Of course not.”

It’s no wonder she’s not keen – she sees more than her fair share of tap dancing every night when she puts politicians under the spotlight...
