In his new role, Rogers will oversee all aspects of Spirit Nashville’s creative and operational activities. His hiring coincides with the departure of Spirit Nashville president Daniel Hill.
“Frank Rogers is a rare talent — from his ability to produce and write #1 hits to his amazing business acumen,” said Spirit Music Group chairman Jon Singer. “Frank has a vision for Spirit Music Nashville and I have no doubt he will execute on that vision and exceed expectations. We are fortunate to have Frank lead our talented writers and staff in this next chapter. I also want to thank Daniel Hill for all of his years of service and have the utmost respect for him.”
In addition to his work as a songwriter and producer, in 1999 Rogers formed the independent publishing company Sea Gayle Music alongside singer-songwriter Brad Paisley and songwriter Chris DuBois. In 2016, Rogers departed Sea Gayle to form a multi-faceted deal with Spirit Music Nashville that saw the publisher acquire one-third of Rogers’ interest in certain copyrights of Sea Gayle, brought him on as a songwriter and leveraged his executive abilities for a joint venture known as Fluid Music Revolution, which allowed Rogers to bring new artists, songwriters and producers to the company.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to lead the talented staff and roster at Spirit Music Nashville,” added Rogers. “The entire Spirit Music Group team has been wonderful partners for myself and Fluid Music Revolution. I look forward to continuing to build something special with both the Spirit and Fluid teams.”
Rogers’ work has garnered 13 Country Music Association award nominations, including an album of the year win for producing Paisley’s 2005 album Time Well Wasted, as well as five Academy of Country Music awards. He has written a raft of No. 1 country hits, including Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song),” “Alright” and “This” by Darius Rucker, “Five More Minutes” and “This Is It” by Scotty McCreery and “Backroad Song” by Granger Smith.
In January, Spirit Music Group’s Singer and vp acquisitions and business development Ross Cameron formed Lyric Capital Group to take ownership of the company and secure a recapitalization of $350 million.
