In 2016, Rogers departed Sea Gayle to form a multi-faceted deal with Spirit Music Nashville that saw the publisher acquire one-third of Rogers’ interest in certain copyrights of Sea Gayle, brought him on as a songwriter and leveraged his executive abilities for a joint venture known as Fluid Music Revolution, which allowed Rogers to bring new artists, songwriters and producers to the company.
