MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) - Nearly two years after a Moss Point native vanished without a trace, a $5,500 reward still up for anyone who can help find her.

September 3rd, 2016 was the last day anyone saw or heard from Tammyetta Spaulding. The Moss Point native was living in Jackson when she vanished. Her two daughters, her parents, her family, and friends were left with nothing but a prayer to see her again.

Her family is refusing to let go of the hope that someone will come forward with information to bring her home.

"If anybody knows where my mom is, please send her home because I miss her very much," said Tammyetta's daughter Journye.

The 9-year-old has a lot she can say about the past two years. "I have not seen her for two years. I know God's got my back," she said.

Journye summed it all up with one simple request. "I love my mom very, very much. Please send her home."

"Please. Send my daughter home. I just want her back," said Joysteen Spaulding, Tammyetta's mother.

Tammyetta's father was the last to hear from her on that day. "When she called me, she was telling me about a promotion she had just got on her job. She was real happy about everything," said James Spaulding.

Since then, there have been few leads in the search for Tammy. Her car was found abandoned at a Jackson gas station several days after her disappearance, but it had been wiped clean of all fingerprints.

Surveillance cameras at Tammyetta's job showed that she came to work but left early, leaving alone. A few days after she went missing, police said her cell phone had been used but they were unable to trace that call. Four days after Tammy last spoke with her parents, her blue Chevy Equinox was found abandoned at a Jackson gas station.

"Whoever had the car, cleaned it thoroughly," James Spaulding said earlier this year. "No fingerprints, not even Tammy's fingerprints, were found in the car."

In an investigation that seems to be full of nothing but dead ends, this family says the community may be their only hope to see Tammy again.

"If y'all know where mama at, just go ahead and tell us where she at, and we'll go and get her ourselves," pleaded Jordyn. y'all just can't keep holding her hostage like that," said Tammyetta's other daughter Jordyn.

"If you know something, please say something. This has gone on too long. Everybody's hurting," said Latonya Smith, a close friend of Tammy.

It's a plea that Tammy's mother echoed, not only so she can see her only daughter once again, but for her grandchildren as well.

"Help us to find her. Help us to locate her. Help us to do whatever so that these children do not grow up without their mother," said Joysteen Spaulding.

She continued: "I will be happy to see her anyway, anyway, anyway I can."

Spaulding's family will host a vigil this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Solomon Temple AME Zion Church in Moss Point. They're asking those in the community, especially the Moss Point High Class of '97, to attend.

Anyone with information about Tammy's disappearance is urged to contact authorities or Crime Stoppers.
