Will Sam Hunt tie the knot with his Alabama fiancee this weekend?
TMZ reports that the country singer will marry Hannah Lee Fowler on Saturday, April 15, in Hunt's hometown of Cedartown, Ga.
Quoting "sources involved in the wedding," the website also says the couple has planned a small affair, inviting friends and family only.
According to TMZ, Olia Zavozina created Fowler's wedding dress, and the designer is handling outfits for the wedding party. Zavozina, who has a shop in Nashville, designed the suit Hunt wore to the 2017 Academy of Country Music Awards on April 2.
On the red carpet at the ACMs, Hunt told Entertainment Tonight the wedding would happen in "a few weeks." He also said the couple's goal was to keep things "intimate and hometown." Fowler's sister, Rebekah Fowler Miller, has been a key part of the planning team, Hunt said in an interview with Sounds Like Nashville.
Hunt's on-and-off romance with Fowler has been the inspiration for many of his songs, and he named his debut album "Montevallo" after Fowler's hometown. The couple announced their engagement in January.
During a recent interview with AL.com, Hunt talked about his relationship with Fowler, who typically shuns the spotlight, and his efforts to ease her into celebrity life.
"I think she'll get used to being a part of what I do," Hunt said. "I'm going to sort of introduce her to that in stages. She's accepting of what I do and willing to make changes in her life, just as I'm willing to make changes in mine."
Hunt also discussed his overall fondness for Alabama, after growing up near the Alabama-Georgia line and playing football for the UAB Blazers.
